It is not unusual for things to go missing in [clan name]. Nor is it to wake up with leaves in your hair, or twigs on the ground, or your tail to be pulled, or small presents left around, because there is a certain Coatl who hides in the shadows, seemingly leaving a trail of maple leaves wherever he walks. He is rarely seen, and almost never heard, and he goes by the name of Serenade. Serenade is a bit of an Enigma -nobody knows where he came from, nobody knows where he's going, and in fact, nobody really understands why he does what he does. There is a constant debate over where he's from, Plague and Shadow being the most popular guesses, but nobody can really say for sure. The one thing they do know, however, is that they probably will never know, for his eyes are permanently hidden under his red hood. Vekrie seems to be the only person he readily talks to, and she never seems to be the target of his tricks. Ever so often, he can be seen talking to her in private, either telling her troubling things he's noticed, or just sharing his opinions in general. It's always a startling sight to see for those who don't know, since it's widely thought that Serenade doesn't even have a voice at all. He's known to be quite the recluse, and, if spotted, can usually be seen either reading, studying subjects of unknown origin, or laying out his next surprise. Recently, however, he's been out in the blue more and more often, typically around the rooms of a certain female coatl. Rumor has it that they like to talk to each other regularly, and that he's developed feelings for her, but nobody can really tell for sure. |
