Biography
Collectively known as Makitaki, they each have a different personality, but a shared story. Together Makitaki is an alchemical scholar, brewing potions and poisons and harvesting ingredients, and often testing new recipes. Both of them split control of the body very well, although the other can levitate things with Arcane magic if needed. Although arguments can erupt if the other is starting to feel bored of having to rely on magic.
Maki, the one with curved horns, is friendly and agreeable, although unafraid to tell it how it is if need be. Even with herself, as she struggles with being self-critical at times. Maki is the one to be all polite to customers if selling potions and poisons for research funds. She can also be pretty lethargic even on her best of days without taking a potion to help with it--Makitaki both determined it was a Maki problem, not a problem with the body. Maki is the one specializing in potions and harvesting and preparing ingredients from animals and other creatures.
Taki, the one with the horns pointing back, is fearless and confident, and diligent too. She bites back if someone is acting in a wrongful way towards them, and is highly rebellious. Unfortunately she has some anger issues. Although that doesn't mean she isn't compassionate, just as willing as Maki to offer comfort and aid in trying times. Taki is the one who specializes in poisons and harvesting and preparing ingredients from plants and fungi.
Makitaki has very, very dim recall of their previous life. All they knew is that they woke up one day in the infirmary den of the Misfits' tunnels, having apparently been fished out of the Wyrmwound on some of the clanmates' yearly pilgrimage, floating seemingly half dead on the surface. They both took a quick liking to alchemy, but found themselves wanting to know more about themselves too. And quick flashes of memory aren't helping, two towering Imperials overlooking a nest, running across the Scarred Wasteland. If they'll ever find answers, they don't know.
