Soon, Rudy decided to pursue a journey to try and find a way to help Oran build a new body. With a small satchel, they headed south, and tried to cross the Reedcliff Ascent. However, Rudy slipped, and couldn't catch themself as they plummeted into the rapids below. Then Rudy opened their eyes. Moyashi stood before them, organizing herbs.
Moyashi jumped when they noticed Rudy's wakefulness. She explained that her mate, Latona, was about to go hunt when she found them in the rapids. Rudy nodded along with the story, grateful to have been found.
It's then Rudy explained their plight to Moyashi, asking how one could create a new body. Moyashi nervously said that it's not possible - no one has ever done that - when Misty entered the room.
Rudy openly stares at the tears of shadow which poured down Misty's face, but Misty didn't acknowledge it. Misty explained she happened to be walking by the infirmary when she overheard talk of alchemy, much to Moyashi's dismay.
Misty made no promises that they could help Rudy's father, but Zorlin & Clankface had knowledge of both magic and alchemy so they might be able to assist.

Rudy came from two proud families. On one side, they were watermelons given life.
They sought to protect the world's melons from the horrid beastclans, a mission that was baked into Rudy's bones.
On the other side, part of Puck's spirit resides within him, as all of his decedents do. And a desire
to cause chaos came with it.
Viola, Rudy's mother was the one they trusted the most. They followed closely at her like a burr.
They learned how to keep their head low, to observe. Which was useful for pranks - like the time Rudy replaced Oran's water with apple juice.
