Shiner

Shiner is an odd individual amongst the children of the Land of the Cursed. They were born with a shining core within their body that cracks the surface of their skin, and eyes that pierce the darkest of shadows. And yet, despite it all, they are the most secretive of all the children.

Frequently will they make attempts to sneak away from Watcher's eyes to reach locations only few dragons know, always coming back before the sun goes too low into the horizon. Often times, they will say that they went out to find trinkets or toys, but they never reveal what they've found to anyone.

However, when they aren't being secretive, they can mostly be found draped over Watcher's horns, being lulled into a deep sleep. The contrast between activity and sleepiness with Shiner's personality baffles most, but those that have grown accustomed to their antics instead find their secretiveness annoying, and their faintly-glowing core as they sleep soothing.

Many speculate what exactly it is that they do when they're out and about. Some say that they're a secret god blessed by Lightweaver herself, tending to the ever-growing empire of the Light flight. Others think that Shiner, like many others in the cursed wastes, arose from the stray magic plaguing sectors of the nearby territories (much like creatures that arose from the Wyrmwound), planning to take over these territories for their own desires.

...Really though, their pretentiousness suggests that neither of these cases are true, and instead they just really like to keep silly trinkets for themselves.
