The wet, cracked cobblestones and rain-dripping, collapsed roofs whisper the clues about a tragedy that happened long before you arrived. You give in to the bustling morning crowd, not knowing anymore are you coming or going, are you dead or alive. Until your glance follows a ray of light, too fateful to be accidental, and falls onto an ancient marble plaque on the crumbling wall... On the plaque lies your family name. |
