Vera grew up in the clan of xullre, a clan deep in gladeveins of nature. She was the second hatchling to her parents and was brought up in the ways of a melon just liker her sister Verdant was, she looked up to her sister being a strong and powerful melon who can fight her own battles - she wanted to grow and be strong like her, even setting out and finding the same familiar as her sister. Vera grew up with her second cousin Bijou, who also lived in her clan - she heard many stories about his birth clan in shadow and all the different kinds of dragons who lived there and she was very intrigued. As she grew she was fond of her origins but she also just enjoyed being a dragon, taking after more of that aspect than her melon one - she also grew to have a slight fondness - maybe obsession- with frogs and collected many while she lived with her home clan. When it was time to set out of her clan and find her own, she felt she did not want to go to set out to one who dose not have any melons, so she set a letter out to her great uncle Citrullus and asked if there was room for a melon like her there, and to her delight he confirmed there is room and would be excited to have her around- so she set off biding goodbye to her parents and family, setting off to the Mystic Shadow Clan in the shadow realm. ↞.diary logs.↠ 12/23/2021 While on a exploration around the shadow realm with fellow dragons, she met a young spiral who like her, looked like a melon, but after a closer look knew he wasn't (thankfully Citrullus taught her about how to distinguish dragon from melon, or she would have embarrassed herself). She was in absolute awe of his glowing body, she has never seen any gene like that before. After talking with him for awhile she found his name was Velan - like her he had a passion but his was with snakes and reptiles even having one of his own- , she liked they shared an interest in animals (although his kept trying to eat her frogs). They hit it off instantly, not even noticing that they talked so much about frogs and snakes they walked right back to the clan. She asked if they would meet again and where his clan was and found that Velan did not have a clan of his own, so after talking to and getting permission from the leader of Vera's clan he was able to settle down in her clan. ↞.personality.↠ Vera is strong and a little mysterious dragon, she tends to keep to herself more than her family but when she is comfortable, it can be hard to get her to stop talking (especially if it is about frogs). She enjoys animals and honing her fighting skills just like her sister, but will always go to Sangria for a nice chat to relax and unwind. She tends to keep her face covered with her guise especially when outside the clan - as she heard about the attacks on melons , it makes her feel covered and safe from any enemies, tricking them she is just a green and red dragon. ↞.relationships.↠
