Tigerscale

Tigerscale joined the Clan as a young hatchling, and from the start, she knew she was a warrior. As the young Wildclaw grew up, traveling along with Shadowscale and Goldenscale, she realized that despite her species' natural preference for physical strength, her calling was magic. She practiced by herself, as at the time she was the only Mage in the new Clan. She trained hard, practicing and experimenting with the elemental forces around her, until her skills were strong enough to rival a more physically inclined Wildclaw. She was a master in the Coliseum, sending waves of enemies flying with bolt after bolt of gale-force wind. However, after a series of particularly successful battles, the team got a bit overconfident and attempted a fight in the kelp beds - at only level 18! As they plunged into the murky waters, they each started to secretly doubt their rash decision. But it was too late to back down, for an enormous Mantarune had risen up before them, and with each beat of its massive fins, it struck terror into the hearts of the team. The dragons' combined power managed to hold it at bay for a while, but they were quick to tire, and they were not used to fighting enemies of this level of strength. Soon enough, the Mantarune decided that it had had enough and with one critical bolt of tidal wave energy, it sent Goldenscale spinning away, unconscious. As quickly as she could, Shadowscale lifted him onto her back and she and Tigerscale fled back to the lair. They flew swiftly, but by the time they returned, Goldenscale was in bad shape. He was hardly breathing, and nearly everyone thought he wouldn't make it. The whole Clan waited anxiously for good news, while Shadowscale never left his side. Tigerscale, however, was nowhere to be found. After about an hour, she finally flew back into the cave and paced straight into Goldenscale's hollow. "I think I can save him," she said anxiously, "stand back." She closed her eyes, focusing hard. First, the air around her started to take on a bluish tinge. Then, a breeze stirred the air. The sun seemed to shine brighter through the cracks in the rock, and everything seemed as though it would be alright. Then it was over, and Goldenscale lay lifeless on the ground, just as before. But then a sort of halfhearted growl emerged from his throat, and a green eye opened, and then before they knew it he was sitting up and shaking out his wings. The spell had worked! "I am grateful.." Goldenscale hissed.
Tigerscale vowed to keep practicing healing spells, and soon became a full-time healer for the Clan. But she still fights with the Coliseum team, healing wounds on the battlefield, so that her Clanmates can keep fighting much longer. But every now and then, in memory of her glory days, she will sneak in a bolt at whatever monster dare stand in her way.
