- Works as a Scrier - dragons trained in the art of Near Scrying. While Long Scrying is unique to water dragons (can be used to see things from far away), Near Scrying is more a form of psychic manipulation - using a scrying orb, Isolde can warp the reality in a close area around him - e.g. move stuff, twist space. (Kind of like he see different possible futures and manifest them to a degree)
- Near Scrying is an incredibly rare form of magic - very few dragons know how the gift is even gained, and few who do choose to pursue it due to its high entry cost. Not only must a dragon bind themselves to the Wild Lord Aishe (Lord of Possibility), but they must make a sacrifice to ignite a scrying orb, as no dragon's power will be capable of bending reality alone. This sacrifice themselves must be powerful, and moreso, they must be willing. Often, tutors will allow their pupils to sacrifice them once they are ready to move on. Even finding an orb is a feat, as they made from an incredibly rare crystal that only grows deep underground. (Isolde actually got his from the Depths). Lastly, this also binds the dragon's magic to the orb, leaving them powerless without it.
