courier? after his curse on celehar succeeded, gorice decided that he wanted to create an actual homunculus, a construct that would do his bidding. he created silence out of laboratory runoff with the expectation that he would be obedient only to him. however, silence refuses to listen to any one master, and instead acts as a courier for the clan as a whole, with the caveat that he will only deliver messages that interest him. although he originally had no name, the nickname 'silence' came about as most message requests were made with pleas for privacy.

he has no alliances or friends, and no interests other than gathering secrets. no amount of bribery will compel him to betray what is told to him, although many clan members have certainly tried.

he has made clan life much more convenient, as a courier service was something that nobody realized was so desperately needed. gorice refuses to send messages with him out of bitterness. he has tried to destroy him many times, but some mysterious quality renders Silence impervious to his creator's magic.
