life is good when you're on top of the food chain.

a self-satisfied smirk often adorns his face. the twang of a bow is akin to a heavenly melody. it's the sound of accomplishment, of triumph, of victory. the thrill of the hunt and the oxymoronic sense of peace that comes with a successful kill.

he thrives in a fight.

to say he loves being a warrior for hire would be underselling it. his profession is his greatest source of pride. though many despise him for being so good at what he does, he'd never apologize for it.

violence and bloodshed - two never ending truths of life.

it's a job that's sent him all over sornieth, allowing him to explore the vast lands. he's traversed the tallest of mountains and the lowest of valleys, the thickest of jungles and the most barren of wastelands. marred and beautiful and so full of life; he loves it. the freedom, the adventure, the sense of conquest; he loves it.

for someone so used to causing harm, his heart feels so full of love.
