The stars can be a home just as any lair can be. For weeks, even months at a time this Imperial soars around them, far far away from the lands of Sornieth. Aphelion is an enigmatic dragon that few have ever met. Those that have met him only speak of the strange twinkling of his wings and body, or of the way he seems to yearn for the sky even if he has just only touched the ground. Aphelion's arrival is often followed by a night sky filled with shooting stars, and in some cases a meteor shower or perhaps the passing of a comet close to the atmosphere. Only one thing can keep him grounded here. His mate, Kalliope, whom he shares a deep bond with. The Herald of Song is the only one that summon him back. He has a unique ability to summon stars or other space-related objects such as comets and even blackholes for combat. Perhaps spending so much time around the stars has twisted his magic to allow such feats. This Imperial rarely chooses to fight, and even fewer would find it tempting to engage in combat with him. There is always something... uneasy about him. |
