Philips takes his duties as a butler very, very seriously. And he's quite good at what he does. No wonder he comes with such impressive references. Not just any dragon could help the Plaguebringer herself with various tasks around the Wyrmwound and live to tell the tale, let alone come with her highest regards as well.

One of the first to be taken in by Spirit, Philips serves as his faithful butler. He tends to and ensures the smooth operation of all parts of the manor, from keeping it spotlessly clean to making sure tea is served on time. He is compensated well for his hard work and diligent efforts, but Philips isn't in it for the treasure or gems. As far as he's concerned, tending to the house is what he was born to do. He's never happier than when he polishing silver or organizing a fancy soiree. Still, Spirit isn't the kind of dragon who doesn't pay or reward hard work, and Philips is far too polite to refuse the Lord of the Manor. Other than his organizational skills, Philips is well known as a polite, civil, and chivalrous figure. A total gentleman, as it were. He is also steadfastly loyal and honest, and one of Spirit's closest confidantes. While he enjoys looking after the manor, some of Philips' other hobbies includ knitting, listening to classical music, and attempting to bake macarons. |

Spirit: Philips serves the Lord of the Manor well, but beyond that, the two enjoy a close friendship. There's no one Philips trusts more than Spirit, and vice versa. Vindictus: As the one who oversees and tends to the grounds, Vindictus is a key part of the estate, and Philips makes sure to check in on it whenever possible. While the two aren't friends, per se, they are professional with one another and Philips makes sure to bring Vindictus its three square meals...plus snacks. Bodhi: Bodhi tends to the manor library, and Philips keeps him in line. After all, Bodhi has a tendency to nod off when he's supposed to be dusting shelves or mending books. For as exasperated as Philips may seem with the poor spiral, though, he views him almost like a little brother, and rewards his work at the end of the day with his favorite snack; homemade peanut butter cups. |
