By day, Birchwood is a humble artist and lampmaker, adorning the lair with her glowing crystalline creations. By night though? By night she dress up in funny robes and leads the dumbest cult you've ever heard of.

"The Cult of the Players" is a group of religious dragons (though most would say simple fanatics looking for an excuse to do dumb ****) that worship imaginary, otherworldly beings known as "Players of Flight Rising". Apparently these obviously made-up beings inhabits another world and interacts with the denizens of Sornieth, unseen except by the chosen few have had their "lore" altered to grant them the superpower to see though the mythological "Fourth Wall", a magical barrier that separates the worlds. The Players are said to be mythical and all powerful creatures, capable of deciding the fates and actions of entire clans. Birchwood is of second sight, blessed to be the messenger of her Player and tasked with spreading the world for all those who might hear, so that they too might appease their Players in humble worship. Most dragons thinks she's rather crazy... but somehow, her ideas are spreading through the world of Sornieth, gaining traction with the weirdos of the dragon world...

Her clanmates are definitely on the fence about her leading a strange and obviously deranged cult, but Birchwood is enough of an adorable cinnamon roll to to actually get away with it. Plus, a lot of her weird fellow cultists stop by to discuss theology and worship their stupid imaginary humans together, which means customers and business for the clan.
