Being one of only two eggs, you’d think that he’d have been looked after well. However, one evening his eggs rolled out of the nest and were left alone overnight. In the morning, the little snapper had hatched, ahead of his brother and was found covered in frost. His name was a testament not only to his reliance but the frostbite that had settled on the fresh hatchling's tail and nose. He recovered quickly with some salves from the shaman and was soon back to romping around with his baby brother and the other clan hatchlings in no time.
