Metallic flanks and plated scales betray no weakness. This guardian sits proud, tending to a magnificent beard, an intimidating figure to even others of his own breed. They say he bears the name of metal; holds a well-guarded heart behind a paralyzing gaze.

If only they knew how weak of a metal zinc was, perhaps they'd realize that their dragon of steel was, in fact, quite soft.

Granted, he's not weak - strong muscles bunch under hard scales, wear and faded scarring on their surface demonstrate lived experience. One must be careful to not conflate weakness with unkindness, however. Zinc is a fierce defender of dragons who cannot defend themselves - old or young, in need of help or merely a shoulder to cry on. He's a fighter and a listener alike, depending on what the situation calls for.
