Herma found Jenssen while visiting dragon rescue agencies and immediately became attached to his striking appearance. He was nervous and shy upon meeting them, and he didn't know even how to fully introduce himself, as he wasn't certain about his own origins. He knew who his parents were supposed to be, but he also knew his name stood out as different, and he wasn't sure why.

Jenssen was welcomed into the paranormal den in Islandheart's Lair with opened arms, but he was painfully shy and had a hard time opening up to the others there. It wasn't long before he realized everyone there was unique, even if their appearances were sometimes similar, and that they were all warmly accepted despite their differences. He soon found himself exploring the den and comfortable in his lair; his new home wasn't that far physically from his previous home, but his previous home soon became a distant memory as he settled in.

Bonehilda noticed Jenssen as soon as he arrived in the lair, but his shyness kept him from opening up to her right away. However, her patient kindness soon helped him feel comfortable and welcome in the lair, and he found himself growing strongly attached to her.
