the strange being who lives in the ruins on the outskirts of the rat castle. a fog of incense surrounds him at all times, inviting a spicy and bitter aroma. many dragons suspect that he may not even be flesh and blood, but rather an apparition whose original form had died long ago, before the ruins came crashing down on him. however, nobody knows this for sure and nobody wants to get close enough to him to find out.

to be fair, his visage is quite unsettling; feathers, tattered cloth, and mangled skin altogether create his haunting appearance. a lot of the town's folklore is based off of him but not much else is known. though he doesn't talk, you can hear the chains on his mantle rattle when he's nearby.
