Biography
> Grew up in Xesao, but was sent to Lanternlea Port in the Sunbeam Ruins when he was 15 to study international economics. His father, also named Aaseph Khet, wanted Khet to be as financially successful as he was.
> He instead took interest in philosophy, and also painted in his free time.
> When he moved back to Sekkeheh at 19, he lived in Ma'as. He continued to pursue his interest in painting, and did not use his newfound knowledge of economics.
> Living in Ma'as he took commissions, and ended up making the Sekpiphu et Khese (Sons of Sekpiphu), a series of paintings depicting the 5 greater gods. This series is arguably the most well-known series of paintings in Sekkeheh, as even dracons who are nowhere near Ma'as, or even Xesao, have likely seen them.
> He also did many smaller commisions like portraits.
> When he turned 25, he decided to leave Ma'as and moved to Neb Kept, exhausted of the busy life. He now lives in a small adobe with a small pond filled with fish.
> Spends most of his time painting or doing ceramics. He prefers to paint outside, finding inspiration from nature.
> His father was wealthy, but Khet decided that he didn't want to inherit his property and instead made it public property.
> He has a strong interest in poetry, but he’s not the best at writing it. Instead, he translates traditional poetry into modern Sekke.
> Knows how to speak and read most of the traditional Sekke languages, a skill that's slowly becoming obsolete in Sekkeheh. He doesn't make much of the skill (there isn't much to make of it), but is happy to have it.
> Doesn’t speak much, out of personal decision. His conversations with those he aren't close to are usually very short, but he uses very long sentences.
> He speaks very eloquently, with large, uncommon vocabulary, which makes him a bit confusing to talk to. Mention how nice the weather is, and he'll give a long-winded response about how the way the sun sits in the cloudless sky provides a strong juxtaposition that would be an excellent subject for yet another idyllic painting. Its oddly charming.

Species: Ranchu Goldfish

Ge
> A massive ranchu goldfish that lives in a pond in the backyard of Khet’s villa, with about half a dozen other goldfish
> He is by far the biggest, fattest, and Khet’s favourite.
> Has been in the pond for years, far longer than anyone would expect any other fish to live. This is because Ge was bestowed with a blessing from Jericho, now able to live as long as Khet is alive.
> Khet himself doesn’t mention this often, and when asked, chalks it up to the fact that “he’s a healthy fish”

Relations
Ai7KcPH.png > Very close friends with Cypress, the two sharing a common interest in philosophy. Khet is also a tester for quality of Cypress' paper batches. The two collaborate on unique batches of Tashta (expensive paper often found in the more city markets of richer cities, characterised by the intricate, handdrawn borders) as well.

> Nuka Bau acts as a mother-figure of sorts for Khet, offering him the best of advice when he is feeling the worst. Khet often takes care of Babat when Bau is busy with sculpting, the two painting as Khet listens to the young nocturne talk.

> Khet doesn't know what he would do without Nefet. They are similar in personality, but Nefet and her down-to-earth personality keeps him grounded. Nefet and Khet exchange recipes on the regular, though Khet is not as talented in the kitchen as Nefet is. She tries her best to teach him a little more than simple foods.

> Used to be close with Jericho, but had a falling out a few years ago. The two are not enemies, and are usually just awkward around each other now. Whenever Jericho is mentioned, Khet gets noticeably more nervous.
