Astrid, viking name: beautiful, loved.

Astrid seems like quite the interesting dragon to talk to. A ridgeback- generally hailed for their gigantic size and fighting abilities- but also a mystical and shy dragon who generally spends her time indoors. Though the problem is that shy part. She won’t reveal much upon first conversation, but befriend her and you’ll learn a whole lot about her history.

You see, Astrid loves working out the messy tangles of family. Her den is constantly covered in red string connecting this picture to that picture to this other picture then back to the first picture. Due to her complicated lineage, Astrid has many famous family members, distantly related or not. This colourful array includes Naomi, Gengyar, both the Night Warriors and Warriors of Light, and Deep Ether among many others. So she spends her time mapping out her long lineages and storing them in a large book she generally keeps with her at all times.

She spends so much time doing this that she’s actually almost finished. She plans to offer her services to friends and distant family, to keep boredom at bay. Though there is a little thought at the back of her mind telling her that her own lineage won’t ever truly be over- that there will always be a new group of dragons residing deep beyond her great great great grandparents. Who knows- maybe she will someday complete her own lineage. Maybe she won’t. But she sure will die trying.
