Banshee

BASIC DESCRIPTION.

'I'm sorry, I just wanted to help.'

Banshee is playful and clever, but he hates disappointing others and feels like he can't trust many dragons. You can usually find him reading or playing with the other hatchlings in the palace.


Banshee has always loved to play harmless tricks on dragons to hear them laugh, but he could never get his parents to. His parents were HOPING for a terrifying heir that could become as famous as the grim reaper, not a friendly eerie disappointment. His parents never said it to his face, but he could always hear the gossip they loved to spread. He couldn't even scare a hatchling! But as he was doing his first scare test with his siblings and other dragonets his age, he realized he never wanted to scare anyone, not even make them sad. So, he faked not being able to scare them, he wouldn't have passed anyways. So, he was forced to stay locked up in the palace, his parents hoping no-one would see there 'mistake of a son'. To make sure nobody saw him even more, they forced him to read a youth scroll to make him have the mind, body -and everything else- as a young hatchling would. Banshee's sisters never looked at him either. Banshee was heartbroken, it took him months to get out of his sadness and guilt. A few dragonets in the palace met him, and liked him for who he was. Banshee was overjoyed, he finally had a friend besides the library. He still feels guilt sometimes, but he almost got over it. Now that his cloud of guilt is almost gone, Banshee finally enjoys life and accepts who he is.
