I'm Lynx! Hobby artist, professional dragon hoarder. I draw stuff sometimes. I'm also kind of garbage at social interaction that doesn't consist of one-off forum posts, so please keep that in mind if I respond kind of strangely (or not at all) to something! I'm just bad at words and tend to overthink things, so I'd rather not respond if I feel like I don't have a lot to say/contribute to the conversation.

I felt it would be important to add this section since it's happened a couple of times now, but I am prone to going on unplanned hiatuses. I love Flight Rising and won't pack up my bags for good anytime soon, but games that require a daily commitment such as FR tend to wear me out after a while and I get distracted by other things quite often. In addition, real life has been demanding quite a bit of my time in recent months and will continue to do so for the foreseeable future, further draining away time and energy to spend on FR. Furthermore, I tend to struggle getting back into games with frequent events and updates after not playing for a while (you don't need to be bothered with the details, just know that this is very much A Thing that happens to me).

Whenever I open up this game, I'll probably be pretty active for a couple of weeks at least, but it's likely that I'll suddenly stop playing again for a couple of months. Because of this I won't be taking commissions or re-opening my hatchery (along with any other threads requiring frequent upkeep).

//about friend requests
I don't like to accept friend requests unless I know you personally or if I've talked to you before. If I reject your request: I've got nothing against you, I'm just not big on having strangers on my friends list. I also clean up my friends list every so often.

If you get a friend request from me unprompted, that was most likely an accident, sorry! If you accept it anyway it's no big deal, but I'll probably remove you from my friends list once I notice.

//about buying/borrowing my dragons
Only dragons in my sales tab are for sale! Everyone else is a (probable) perma.

I'd rather not lend out any of my dragons, whether that's borrowing them for coli or to breed them with one of yours.

//about exalting
I usually just exalt dragons I've fallen out of love with since I find reselling to be a hassle unless they have some special properties (like a lineage, or being an oldie or gen one).

While I don't buy dragons explicitly for exalting, I can't guarantee they'll stick around for more than a week either as most of my purchases are impulse buys. I do not exalt unnamed and I do not use a single set name for exaltees.

Dragons from my breeding pairs will usually be exalted once their listing expires.

I used to go by LynxieRG until I changed my UN back in 2020! A lot of my older stuff still features that name, though.

Commissions are closed. While I'd love to keep doing them, I'm really not active often enough for commitments like this.

I'm m on a lot of other pet sites under a variety of usernames (most commonly LynxieRG or Probablynx).
...I'm also on hiatus on literally all of them, since being active on multiple places at once tends to turn playing and doing dailies into a chore for me and sucks the fun out of the whole experience.

As for social media, I've got a Flight Rising Tumblr! I post art of my dragons on it once every blue moon when I remember it exists, in case you're interested in that. I don't really use any other social media frequently (or at all), so FR is probably your best bet in contacting me for whatever. My Tumblr's effectively dead and has like five posts, really can't recommend following me.
