Biography
NITSAERACH
Queen of the Lair

_ |
The Queen of Fire, the Queen of Orange. Hoards orange gemstones... or regular stones, she doesn't care! No one knows where she came from, or even how old she is, but one thing is certain; she'd been on the road for years, maybe even decades. Born a mirror, she was expected to be social and stick around with her own kind, but her interests lay elsewhere. She brought with her a friend and nothing more, wanting one thing and one thing only - to start her own clan. Sosloqur, her trusty friend of many years, claims he met her when she passed Southern Icefield, which makes her current clanmates question just how far she had traveled. Has she seen all of Sornieth? Sosloqur was never a leader type, in fact, he tried to talk her out of it and instead settle in a nice little lair just outside of Southern Icefield, but his mirror friend wouldn't give up on her dreams so soon. Nitsaerach knew she wanted a lair somewhere in the Ashfall Waste, but Sosloqur wasn't a fan of that idea, which made the two compromise and migrate to the Sunbeam Ruins, where they reside to this day. By that point Nitsaerach had gathered followers and made friends. They liked her, for she was an odd one. Not very talkative, obsessing over all the wrong things, and strongly refusing to have any heirs to the throne. To quote her, "I'd rather adopt 1200 cats." |
Transformation
When the news of the terrifying Aberration spread, Nitsaerach had to see it for herself. Luckily, because of her plague roots, she had formerly allowed a plague subspecies to reside within her lair, who, in return for her kindness, accompanied her on a trip back to her ancestry's home - the Scarred Wasteland. It was a long trip, but it was well worth it, as that was when they met an important figure - Formula. The aberration gazed down upon the mirrors with its five eyes, one for every mirror. Then he smiled. "Well, I've always said, two heads are better than one!" He sure had the humor of an old sponge despite his juvenile appearance. Or was he as young as he appeared? The aberration clearly had secrets. The odd posture, inability to hold balance, it had to mean something. But Nitsaerach felt confident, having four bodyguards by her side, in case things went south. Formula led the mirrors straight to Wyrmwound, where he stopped and began to focus his energy. "Take a peek, young mirror, and all your questions will be answered." |
The mirrors peered in, feeling a strange energy pulling them down. Losing her grip, Nitsaerach fell in. Panicking, her mirror acquaintances began to form a rope to pull her out, but Formula stopped them. "The mirror saw something in there... or someone. Let her do this, she will be just fine." The four mirrors sat down, anxiously staring at the cauldron, when a monster emerged... "AT LAST, WE HAVE BEEN REUINITED!" The mirror they once knew was gone, disfigured beyond belief. Two heads, five eyes, two twisting tails, and long, sharp talons. Taller even than Formula! The mirrors froze in fear. However, she did not show aggression toward them. In fact, she still remembered them, giving them a reassuring smile. Back home, at last. The mirrors scattered and Nitsaerach entered the Inner Sanctum, proudly keeping her heads up. Fear and confusion rose, but it was without any doubt their queen. Formula earned a spot in the Inner Sanctum, which is the highest honor a dragon in Nitsaerach's clan could receive. All is well... for now... |
The Twins
Hewn City. It's a desolate wasteland that few dare wander into. The Queen loves to go on late evening walks - it's a calm, refreshing experience. Hewn City lies beneath her lair, and is a place she often visits. It is quiet, and there isn't a soul in sight... or so she thought, until one day, she heard distant cries. Hurrying to investigate, she was met with two younglings - two baby aberrations! They were newly hatched, but their mother was nowhere near. The two twins had been abandoned, the poor things! She looked left and right, but no one came. Nitsaerach did not have children of her own, and knew not of the responsibility they came with, but after seeing their sad, hungry eyes, she couldn't abandon them like they were abandoned before. She approached them with caution, as to not frighten them, and smiled. "It's going to be okay."________. |
Once home, Nitsaerach let the children run free. Happy and careless, they caused chaos across the lair. Trampling plants, destroying furniture, chewing up books, and tearing up clothes. What an awful day it was for the grown-ups chasing them! Someone had to stop them, but no one could. Nitsaerach laughed - the joy and smiles they brought were enough to make her forgive. Months passed, but they remained young. No one knows why, but they had been cursed with Eternal Youth. A curse for the adults, that is! The twins are often seen cuddling by their new mother after a long day of running around, play fighting, and destruction. Why their eyes differ in color is anyone's guess, but the likely reason is that their nest had been built on the border between Tangled Wood and Dragonhome. But what brought them to Hewn City? |
