About: Star is the most studious of Isaiah’s children and takes after his mother in his magical ability and interest. He is quite adept already for his age and enjoys practicing and training at any time, especially when he can receive teaching from Kayne. He isn’t quite sure what to do with his skills, however, having never been interested much in work or the daily hustle and bustle of the world; he hopes to find his calling through his travels. He is one to seek quiet time, be it alone or with family and friends, and particularly enjoys simple pleasures. He is friendly to others and especially caring of his family; a special fondness reserved for those younger than him.

FoxFriend - The Arcanist's Union

Star explored the Windswept Plateau, staying with other dragons for a few months. His sense of adventure got to his head, as Star set off for the heights of the Arcane leylines. After entering the domain of the Arcanist, Star found a growing den near the Oculus of the Eleven - an ancient temple nestled in the sanctum of Starfall Isles.

After weeks of flying, Star finally arrives in the Windswept Plateau. Where better to start his travels than in the global travel hub? Surely the dragons here have some pointers on how to make the most of one's journey...
And maybe here, where dragons from all over the world meet, he could even find a scholar or teacher to introduce him to the possibilities of his magic. This is exactly what Star asks the very first dragon he sees in the mighty Cloudsong, a learned-looking skydancer. He responds friendly, inviting Star to join his clan for a while, and to meet the different dragons there.

Star has been living with Yrwen for only a few days, but already he has learned much about the other dragons. They're all from different parts of the world, and Star has eagerly spoken to each and every flight ambassador about where his next travels might lead. What might be the best use for his magic? Are there techniques he doesn't yet know about? He often visits Cavaryn, who had introduced him to this clan, for a little alone-time in the library, where Star spends hours browsing old books about lost magic and hidden spells.

In the past weeks, Star has settled down in Yrwen quite well. He happily joins daily talks of news, concerning new food sources, old stories and passing dragons.
Star feels especially drawn to Princess, the clan oracle, because she understands his situation the best: she, too, has struggled with questions of identity and purpose. Her avid interest in the Light flight is something she has in common with Star's mother - and she helps ask important questions. Should Star follow in his moms footsteps and practice light magic? Or perhaps look for different options? And, most importantly, how does he feel about this? Any pressure?

Every discussion with Princess or Yrwen's light representative leaves Star's head buzzing. Yrwen has been a pleasant community, always up to date on news from across Sornieth, and always traveling further to see more of the Windswept plateau. But perhaps it would be best to look for answers elsewhere...

With a heavy heart, Star decides to leave Yrwen and continue on his journey. It is a clear, starry night. A gentle breeze encourages him to spread his wings and fly on.
Star turns around only once - looking back at Princess with a promise of writing often - and lets himself soar upwards, away from the makeshift tents, and out towards new adventures.

Star tried to look forward rather than be caught in the past, and found himself soon amidst grand trees that must have been older than even his father. Or perhaps, his father had once lain dormant beneath their roots? It sparked enough curiosity that the young Skydancer descended to walk among them, and was nearly bowled over by a rambling Tundra who immediately began apologizing. Ever the kind and charismatic creature, Star waved off such apologies, and the two began to converse as they wandered between gnarled trunks. It seemed the Tundra, known as Brilliance, was also seeking his purpose and path in life. Though he wasn't gifted with magic like Star was, the similarities were eerie enough that he felt a kinship forming.

Taken in for rest and a warm meal by Evernia and her Clan, Star and Brilliance talked long into the night about familial expectations and sibling rivalries. Star realized that although they were both looking for purpose, Brilliance lacked the supportive family that Star had always had, and when dawn broke, Star invited the younger dragon to come along with him on the next leg of their journey. After all, the youths of the world needed looking after, and he could see far too much of himself in Brilliance to let the Tundra travel alone, at least for now.

After living away for many years, Star returned home to visit his family for little while. He reunited with some of his siblings who had also returned home, and there were many affection nuzzles between them. They spent a lot of time talking and catching up. His sister, Sparrow, was even co-leading the clan with his nephew, Price. He also got to see his parents again, but this reunion was not so happy. Star learned that his parents had divorced. He mostly learned about his father from the other dragons in the clan. Everyone was pretty hushy about the details, but it was clear something dramatic happened while he was away. He was only able to glean some truth from his siblings. Despite all the mixed news though, he had a wonderful visit back home. He was very happy to see everyone again before he returned to his adventures abroad.
