Subspecies: Forest Fires
Forest Fires are a subspecies born from resilience and persistence, and the will to live. Their story started out not as dragons, but as forest spirits. They were once Ents and Nymphs protecting their ancient forest from being consumed by shade remnants, but they knew their magic was not enough to terminate the corruption. They pleaded for help to the gods to no avail, until Flamecaller bestowed upon them the gift of her conflagration. They could use her powers to destroy The Shade, but it'd take their lives with them. Only as a last resort did they use her powers, and in respect and admiration of their strength and resilience, Flamecaller reincarnated them as dragons with unique patterns and colors. The subspecies is divided into two groups: Forest Fires are an Orange-Fire primary with a Jungle-Camo secondary and tertiary. Heart Of The Forest are Jungle-Camo primary with Orange-Fire secondary and tertiary.
