SeaStar is very laid back. He loves to research and learn, but his joy is in finding random facts and he doesn't need to know everything about something. The fun, for him, is just getting to know something he didn't know previously... and to surprise others with the most obscure information he can just interject into conversations.

His mate LunaSea, however, takes learning to extremes. She is on a mission - driven by a compulsion in her brain she has no control over - to learn everything. In the world. As fast as possible. Since this is an impossible task, she is often beset with anxiety attacks.

SeaStar has made it his mission in life to make sure that his mate does not frazzle herself out by going too extreme into any of her knowledge pursuits. He is the only one that can coax and cajole her into relaxing, and talk her down when she's getting too wound up about her current project. It makes him sad that he cannot flip the switch in her wonkily wired brain to off sometimes so she can truly rest... but it makes him proud and happy that he can provide her comfort when it's needed most.
