Biography

Redwood
he/him
Devoted • Skilled • Stalwart Gruff • Distant • Irritable

Exiled to the outskirts of the Foxfire Bramble, Redwood spent many years surviving in the unforgiving forest of thorns. His previous position as part of the Sentries saved his scales countless times with hardened battle and defense experience. Even his thick coat of fur aided him, protecting him from the relentless thorns. He barely spoke, if at all, to prevent vicious beasts from using his voice to find him, which is engrained to his nature, even in the safety of the Clan of Evergreen. Redwood came to the clan with Tiramisu, a Veilspun he came across in the Foxfire Brambles. They wordlessly agreed to an alliance, never officially announcing one but always acting as one. Tiramisu had been heading towards the Gladeveins to explore farming practices beyond the Driftwood Drag, but she became horribly lost, meeting Redwood in the lower Foxfire Bramble. With the help of Redwood, the duo eventually arrived at the Gladeveins, where they met a kind Spiral dragon who introduced herself as Medusa, and stayed at the Clan of Fallen Evergreen to rest. Tiramisu and Medusa quickly became good friends due to their interest in horticulture, and Redwood decided to stay because he had nowhere else to go. The prosperous fantasia of blossoms and butterflies was a massive improvement from the dreary Foxfire Bramble.

Redwood is not aggressive and does not like to fight for sport or competition, rather he believes that violence should only be used for self-defense, not to start battles. Despite his more peaceful approach to battles, his skills are always a sight to behold, and he would not hesitate to use them to defend his clan.

Although he would never admit it, deep down Redwood deeply cares for the Clan of Fallen Evergreen and all of its dragons. He devotes himself to defending it and its dragons and would do anything to keep it from harm.

He considers Tiramisu to be a good friend, although again, he would never admit it aloud. He greatly respects her and her wisdom, agreeing with many of her approaches to life. They often delve into long conversations about philosophy, the meaning of life, that sort of thing.
