Biography

Sleet
she /her
Diligent • Agile • Sympathetic Reserved • Watchful • Wary

Born as a blind dragon in the frigid lands of the Icewarden, Sleet was quickly shunned by most of her pack. Her mother didn't have the heart to abandon her as a hatchling, enabling Sleet to learn rudimentary battling and foraging abilities as a young dragon. Fortunately, only the first pair of her eyes, the light-seeing eyes, were faulty, so Sleet can still see heat signatures, although they are still much weaker in comparison to a Mirror with full vision. Unfortunately, her mother's protection and her heat vision didn't stop other dragons from ignoring her to attacking her. Hatchlings were told to exclude her from activities, and many adult dragons encouraged, or more commonly, threatened Sleet's mother to abandon her. Sleet's only saving grace was her primal eyes, a rarity among dragons, which were regarded with awe by many hatchlings and dragons.

As soon as Sleet became fully grown, her mother was forced to leave her daughter behind. Despite Sleet's improvement of hunting over the years, she was still considered to be a burden by many dragons, and the hatchlings who once looked up to her began to despise her. Fortunately, Sleet's pack had traveled to the Viridian Labyrinth when she was deserted, leaving Sleet in a safe place on her own. Most nearby creatures avoided the gentle Mirror, fearing her kindness to be a facade. At last, Sleet stumbled upon the Gladeveins, where a nearby Fae spotted the confused Mirror. The Fae introduced himself as Eros, and offered a place to stay for Sleet, who greatly accepted Eros' kindness.

Although Eros' mate, Chrysalis, was suspicious of the Mirror, Sleet assured the Faes that she meant no harm and was grateful for the Faes' hospitality. She quickly proved herself to be a valuable asset of the trio with her foraging skills that were shunned by Mirrors, but awed by any other dragon, becoming the first new member of what later became the Clan of Fallen Evergreen.
