Subspeices: Sacrificial Flame (Variant: Inigo's Flame)

Sacrificial Flames are a subspecies of dragons born from a sacrifice made to save the lives of a helpless family from The Shade. The Hero died in his sacrifice, but was gifted life from Flamecaller in appreciation of what he did. The hero lives on to this day. After his sacrifice, more dragons with his distinct patterns started appearing over Sornieth. Some shared his genes down to his glimmering belly and fire eyes. Others, do not. They are still Sacrificial Flames, but they are not the hero Inigo’s Flames. Dragons born without fire eyes and without glimmer are still Sacrificial Flames, but do not have the unfortunate trend of having the shorter lifespan of Inigo’s Flames.
