Said to be spawned from an abandoned, diseased Cranial Hornhelm long ago, Akuma has been a legend among dragon-folk for many centuries. Dragons are unable to see them but claim with their lives that they hide among the dragon-folk in order to bring chaos. But no dragon can truly say that they have seen Akuma, and their true appearance remains a mystery to dragon-folk. Legends about Tenshi range far and wide- but it is widely believed that they are the bringer of disease, plague, and death. Many speculate that it has the power to wipe out entire lairs without any hassle, and do so with no mercy when angered. Certain rituals and protective methods are used to 'scare off' this dragon's spirit. Large statues are created of it's "opposite", Tenshi, in hopes of bringing protection. |

-but unlike the beliefs of the dragons that fear them, Akuma is a gentle soul who forever feels mortified by the disease and death that follows them around. They constantly try all that they can to "wash their hands clean", and to try and earn forgiveness by sending signs of prosperity and health, but all their attempts fail- and it all starts anew. Akuma is very much real and is constantly horrified by the attempts of warding them off. Akuma blames themselves for all of the death that they find in their path, but their knowledge of another power causing it keeps them hoping that one-day things will change. Façades never work, and Akuma will forever receive the blame for horrifying misdeeds and disasters.
