Tau

A surprisingly kind dragon despite his terrifying appearance. He claims to simply be a veteran of a warrior's life, though most dragons find it rather hard to believe him...with the exception of Vitus, who loathes his presence and what it means to the hatchlings he took under his wing. For the life that Tau claims he retired from was one of a hireclaw, just as Vitus was before he fled to safety under the Emperor's shadow. Though Tau is as mild-mannered as they come, and more than willing to give the old imperial some space, lifelong habits die hard, and trust is difficult to come by between the two warriors. Vitus responds with downright hostility whenever Tau pokes around, which has lead to some awkward moments when the rescued hatchlings ask where their 'uncle' went.

As for the rest of the clan? They're starting to become a little suspicious as to why there are so many old Plague warriors hanging out in the Sunbeam Ruins. That's an awful lot of weapons scattered about, after all.
