Xiphias originally came to Terreneuvia with Anglerfish and a couple other dragons who managed to escape the cult. Unfortunately though, he wasn't entirely okay when they arrived on their new home of Terreneuvia. He still had major trust issues, and was also extremely paranoid. This caused him to run off into the woods. Though quickly he came back out, confused by the thick forest. But he returned when Seaweed and Riptide adopted their daughter, Amphitrite. She had always been drawn to the forest, and when she heard of Xiphias' brief retreat into it, she was intrigued. So, to get out of doing her daily responsibilities, she disappeared into the forest for a bit. When she came back out, the only thing she did was pull Xiphias back in with her. When they arrived, she displayed a small clearing she had found. Xiphias fell in love with it, and stayed while Amphitrite returned to the main clan. |
Eventually, a stunning purple skydancer washed up on Terreneuvia. Xiphias had been out of his clearing, a growingly rare occurrence for the time. But he immediately fell head over heels for Ravam. Luckily, she shared his feelings, and the two disappeared for a long time, eventually emerging with a single hatchling, named Tilapia.
Eventually, Xiphias and Ravam had a second nest, both of which had been sent off like Tilapia's secret brother. By this time Tilapia had found a partner, Cozumel, and had children of their own, only one of which they kept. Xiphias became obsessed with the idea of sending his off-spring out into the world, thus how Xiphias' Descendants started.
Now, Xiphias works as head of his semi-clan. He used to be a fierce warrior but now has retired, too tired and anxious to continue fighting. Though he still wears much of his armour and will bo into battle when nessesary. But often he just leaves defense to his grandson Splash.
