The Maykrs’ society is a form of hive-mind, with individuals that are more-or-less independent but obliged to always follow the will of their leader - the Khan Maykr. Luminarium is a scholar and astronomer. Before the great corruption, she was respectful and polite, understanding that she has a lot to learn and knowing everyone has something to teach. She was an amazing listener meaning she picked up information to recall back to the Khan Maykr. She has kept the little skull as a reminder of what her species does. She is controlled by the leader, but in her independence, likes to turn over the skull in her claws, wondering what is happening outside of their dimension.
Luminarium was a slight anomaly, she could visit a singular dimension without punishment -- the dimension where Flight Rising is set. During a planet alignment in this dimension, she joined this clan to learn from the many strange beings, dragons, who are also connected to the stars. Luminarium ended up staying and continues to study the stars meaning she is significantly less corrupted than the rest of her species. She's gathered a lot of knowledge from her studies here, so the dragons usually go to her for questions. She gets along swimmingly with the hatchlings and appreciates their curiosity, something she would never have been able to experience back home in Urdak.
