Biography
Instead of Data being her assistant, it's RAM.
Captain of the U.S.S Pessimist, an outdated war ship retrofitted with technology that only works half the time; good enough for the mission.
All her crewmates and ship's manifest swear she's in a romantic relationship with her ship's computer assistant. Perhaps she sees him as the ship itself and is in love with the ship, not the computer. Either way he's smart and has a sexy German accent for some undisclosed reason.
Possibly a sapiosexual or a sapio/objectum romantic.
Gotta have wine in hand at all times or she flips out.
What the actual hell is going on?
Bryn had just come back into the cockpit from putting on her night robe and house slippers only to find chaos en masse had erupted amonst her loyal followers. The tired blonde blinks in astound, unsure whether she should be concerned, offended, or downright flabergasted.
Though she was already leaning towards the latter, of course.
"RAM! Can you explain what happened in the last 5 minutes I've been on the pot to cause this?!" Bryn bellows, finally having enough. The broken, sparking android with a wooden leg hobbles over, frantically waving his hands. Each were missing at least 2 fingers.
"Anduin lost at chess, madame, and accused Saw of cheating." He pants wretchedly. Bryn stares at him.
"You can't cheat at chess, commander! It's a board game!" She moans. "This is exactly what happens when you put down the sangria, Brynda!" The duo race (or gimp) into the ship's control room, the crew throwing seat cushions and spraying crazy string all over each other. RAM ducks just in time to avoid getting hit in the head with a watermelon; instead it harmlessly hits the floor with a thud, not even splitting open. "Anduin, Saw, what is the meaning of this?!" Instantly, the flaming feud ceases. The quarrelers all whip around to face the captain and her assistant.
"Saw is a cheater!" And cries, furiously pointing at a dog-like alienoid creature.
"How do you cheat on a board game?!" Saw heaves in exasperation.
"Perhaps Aron can solve this conflict." RAM suggests, lightly. Bryn anxiously bites her lip before shaking her head.
"We're in an..." She leans in and whispers into his "ear". "Awkward relationship right now. So I put him in manual override until we sort stuff out."
"Must be nice having a man you can lock in a virtual room for years and never have to listen to 'em." LVNA grumbles, resentfully leering at her boyfriend happily holding her hand. "FFffffffffffffffff-"
"I love you, LVNA! Can we go see a movie?" He yips. "There's a good matinee on!"
"Aron is the ship's computer! What could either of you have possibly done?" RAM reasons.
"There's nothing wrong with a little reset every now and then."
