When Sorcas was carved into being, she was immediately struck by how dour her creator looked. He had a regal, paternal air to him, yes - but his face was craggy and hard, his mouth no longer physically capable of forming a smile. Sorcas wondered if this were a common occurrence in the above-ground world. Shade-born threats and war weighed heavily on the surface, but she was no fighter - physically protecting the world seemed out of the question. But the Earthshaker had given her kind a sort of lenience to protect their siblings in whatever way that they saw fit. This is what led her to don the jester's mask. It is no wasted cause to make dragons laugh. When the world feels uncertain, dragons can still rely on one thing - Sorcas' jokes will always land.

Sorcas is a generally fun and easy-going dragon who very much loves to bring joy and entertainment to those in her Clan and outside of it, being almost always in an upbeat and good mood. She recently joined the clan, bringing with her quite the menagerie of other dragons in her troupe to help her put on the biggest and most extravagant shows to bring a smile and laugh to even the most stone cold of dragons.
She's highly non-confrontational, often trying to get out of bad situations by making another dragon laugh, though this can often backfire leading her to getting nervous and drag out the situation as she tries her best to diffuse using jokes. These situations often lead to her bolting to Sparkling for help. Sorcas always puts other's before herself, and can't stand to see a dragon down in the dumps and will do her absolute best to make them smile. If a down mood does strike her, she tries her best to hide it and continue to put on a good show for those who come to see her, loving to hear their laughter and see their smiles, even if it does mean she begins to neglect herself. While she and her troupe often travel around Sornieth to bring joy to dragons all over the continent, they will always return to their home within the Ice.

Sorcas has a lot of energy, loving to dance around and do tricks like cartwheels and handstands. She's almost always doing some sort of movement, fidgeting with her mane, bouncing on her paws or flapping her wings. Despite her large size, she is also highly flexible, twisting her body in odd and strange ways just for fun. She also enjoys casting little spells here and there, putting on big lightshows as she dances around while Sparkling and Zanica do their acrobatic tricks in the air.
