A cheerful and outgoing Obelisk. Gwen is well known among the Rest's citizens, particularly those who came to the city when they didn't know where to go or what to do. She is always willing to listen, and give some advice if needed.

Gwen was one of the Obelisks originally found by the Dustcarve Dig. Awakened from her statue by Freya and Milo, she approached the world with childlike wonder and curiosity. She begged Freya to let her return to Traveler's Rest, eager to see the wide world outside of the cave she was born in. Freya and Milo agreed, and even took the scenic route back to the Rest. Gwen's favorite place they visited was the Windswept Plateau, where she was amazed by the bustling Cloudsong and the sheer variety of the dragons passing through. When they eventually returned to the Rest, Gwen was introduced officially to the First Five as the first Obelisk to meet them. She spent some time hanging around in the Rest, and eventually decided that she wanted to help other dragons find their place in the city.

She's very good at her job. Many a newcomer has been taken under her wing, and ended up in a fulfilling place that convinced them to stay. When she's not working, Gwen is usually writing for the "available jobs" column of the Compass or participating in Ryuki's book club.
