The desert isn't what most consider an ideal location for farming, but life finds a way.

Deep beneath Saigid Nél is an aquifier which once served as the source for the lair's well. Expansions were made, and a tunnel became a cavern suitable for growing vegetables. More expansions were made, and there was room for chickens and other small animals who couldn't tolerate the desert heat -- or who could tolerate the heat, but not the constant lightning of the Charged Barrens.

The underground farm is small -- small enough Uisce alone can handle the farming, though Rua is the one who maintains the architecture and Cogar and Saighead are more likely to get supplies than Uisce is. It will never have the natural light of an aboveground farm or the bounty of the Everbloom Gardens. It is lit with UV lights where necessary and bioluminscent flora elsewhere, and every crop is a challenge Uisce is delighted to face.
