Found as a lost slimy egg on a scavenging trip in the Scarred Wastelands, Lossi brought the egg home to care for it. Once back in the nest, she noticed a crack in the shell. Worrying day and night, hoping the egg was still viable and healthy, Lossi stayed in the nest, keeping the egg as warm as possible.

One day, the crack grew bigger and bigger, trembling as soft chirps could be heard within. After much struggle, a scrawny, sickly wildclaw emerged from the egg, it's eyes covered in pus filled sores. Lossi fretted over the child, but after careful observation, the child didn't seem hindered by the sores, not in pain, nor did it seem to have any trouble seeing. When her eyes met his, she fell in love instantly, and found herself not caring at all what her new son looked like.

The rest of the clan was wary around the strange child. No one had seen such strange eyes before. In the weeks to pass, the clan would soon get word that magic had been surging across the realm. Magic that had been effecting the nests of many dragons, and showing up in the hatchlings.

With their worries at ease, the clan grew to accept the child. Even if he was hard to look at sometimes..
