A discarded project from a grieving mage. Dishcloth used to be a plush toy, the mage's hatchling's favorite, in fact! The child used to take their stuffed snapper everywhere, and the toy was dearly beloved. But sadly a toy, as nice as it was, as comforting as it was, couldn't take away the hatchling's sickness. The child's parent, stricken with grief, did their best to bring at least part of their baby back to life. While they were successful, they also very quickly came to realize that this wouldn't fill the hole in their heart. While they didn't outright abandon the newly sentient snapper, they also didn't really look after her the best they could. Instead they were very busy looking for a new home to give to the ''child'', so that she could live a proper life, and they could potentially start the healing process. Dishcloth was fairly quickly adopted by a traveling band of snappers, when they passed through the Arcane territory. Their supposed ''elder'' was quick to take in this child and raise her to be one of their own, even if she technically wouldn't ever grow up into an adult. Despite not being a ''real'' dragon, she is treated as such by the rest of the Myrthos clan and she is very happy with them. She even imprinted on the adults to view them as her parents. |

Trivia » Dishcloth loves giving hugs and is warm to the touch. She generally smells like lavender for some reason. » She doesn't mind being squeezed, and even has a little squeaker inside of her. Sometimes she uses the squeaker as a form of communication, even though she is fluent in Draconic. » She has little heart patches on the bottoms of her feet. » Dishcloth likes to collect little trinkets. Anything that's shiny, she will collect! She's quite adept at finding treasures, much to the surprise of everyone. » Despite not being a ''true'' dragon, she is largely treated as such, and has plenty of hatchling friends. |
