Nightbloom has been warned about the side effects of the two portals, but his curiosity got the better of him. His skin cracked from light, leaving a nasty out-of-place scar on him as a reminder of his stupidity. He regrets going through the portals. Finding out what everyone meant with Nyktophoses wasn't worth it.

After the incident, he was chased off from his clan due to his newly found light magic and his very little control over it. He's been making a living as a jack-of-all-trades, taking up odd jobs whenever he could. He's not sure about what he wants to do with his future, his mistake is literally carved on his skin after all, or who would want an outcast like him in their clan, but for now he's just taking it slow. One step at a time.
