  • born from an abandoned egg hatched in Quilt's care
  • unofficially adopted by Burst as a hatchling, who slowly went from helping out in the hatchery in general, to primarily helping with Shrike, to the two sharing a close bond and Burst becoming their primary caretaker and mentor
  • got officially adopted as a young adult and a fresh flight instructor, after Gossan arrived at the Tower, reunited with Burst by chance, and the two ended up rekindling their relationship
  • thinks of Hellasa and Milo as Burst's (work) friends who have also become their own friends despite Hellasa and Milo being much closer to their age than Burst's (think, in present, human equivalent: mid 20s for Shrike, early 30s for Hellasa and Milo, and about late 50s for Burst, though once a dragon reaches human-40 or so their forties just stretch on for a couple centuries)
