Rigsby grew up loving the more theatrical acts of the circus, marvelling as the performers would act out fairy tales and legends, usually with an acrobatic twist. But watching recreations of these epic tales was never quite enough for him, as these stories instilled him with a desire to become the hero of his own grand adventure. As he grew, he honed his body and mind through daily training, looking to become as powerful as the legendary heroes from his favourite tales. When he finally reached adulthood, he bid his family a fond farewell, before setting off on his lonesome. His final destination is unknown even to him, but he plans to see ever interesting sight along his path, and to help those in need wherever he encounters them. That's what heroes do, after all.

Though he fancies himself as the dashing hero type, Rigsby is actually a somewhat awkward dragon. He has trouble talking eloquently with others, especially strangers, and tends to "um" and "ah" a lot. Once you get past his strange manner of speaking though, you'll find that he's a perfectly friendly and companionable dragon, one who always has your back when you need it the most. He really enjoys sharing tales and recounting interesting things he's seen on his journey, although he's unfortunately not a very gifted storyteller. Rigsby's also very musically inclined, another interest he developed from growing up in a circus. He spends many of his nights loudly singing campfire songs to himself in the wilderness, though he would probably be too embarrassed to do so if anyone else was listening. A shame really, as his singing voice is quite good.
