Pavus hails from deep within the Tangled Wood, born of a lair filled with Wildclaws, a most deadly combination. His kind is known for their savagery, violence, raw power- teach them to lie and you've a dangerous creature indeed. From the moment he emerged from the egg he had little interest in combat, which left him in a rather precarious position. Instead, he taught himself the art of sparring with words; what he lacked in sharp claws he made up for with a sharper wit. Even so he longed to get away, dreamed of scholarship and peace.

As such, when a mysterious wanderer appeared to him, he was almost too eager to get away. So eager, in fact, that he forgot the cardinal rule of living among shadows and took the Skydancer at face value. The Shifting Expanse was certainly a far cry from the isles of his dreams, but the Directive's labs required a records system and the Glitch was... persuasive. Overwhelmed and unnerved, he accepted the position of clan Scribe. His rank in the hierarchy is precarious, and while he doesn't fear for his life the way he did before, he's clearly uncomfortable with the situation. Paranoia? ...he doesn't think so.
