Fable is a strong woman, but she wasn’t always that way. When she was younger she was married off to an imperial, who we’ll call gone. Gone was an abusive, narcissistic bas*ard. He mistreated fable severely. Going as far as to even mutilate her right eye when she refused to listen. After a while, fable decided she had enough. She killed gone, and left his body in their vacation home to decay. It was a month later that she went back and let her familiar feast on him. Once he was gone, she took his skull and wore it to hide what he had done to her. She took his money and moved to a luxurious mansion in the Rose. She then found a job in archeology, she was suspiciously good at identifying bones and fossils. She sold gone’s previous belongings at the night market, and that where she met Thanatos. It took a while for Thanatos to win her over, but eventually she gave in to love. In their wedding vows Thanatos promised to be as good a wife as possible, and to NEVER, EVER, be anything like gone. A few years after that they adopted Misty, a young obelisk. Misty became their pride and joy. She had a daughter she loved, a wife she trusted, and had found a job she enjoyed. And that’s when fable realized, she had finally set herself free from her past. And she couldn’t be happier with where she ended up.
