A very sweet and compassionate dragon, though a bit neurotic, Willow has a special soft spot for all the young ones in the clan, news of a new nest's arrival bringing her immense joy. She'll often check in on new parents to make sure they have everything they need, alleviating their worries with gentle reassurance, and should they need someone to watch over their children while they tend to their work about the clan, or simply desire a break from their rowdy hatchlings for a bit, Willow is more than happy to step in and care for them while their parents are busy. Her warm personality and immense patience puts even the shyest children at ease, and the hatchlings adore her for the treats and many shiny trinkets she'll keep in her den just for them when they visit her.

Her more pressing role in the clan however comes with the peculiar habits of her familiar, Maia, who has an innate gift at finding and hoarding deserted eggs, bringing them back to her nest in Willow's den to brood over. Sometimes when Willow comes home and checks her familiar's nest, she'll be alarmed to find the Akirbeak sitting on an abandoned dragon egg, knowing with heartache that her familiar wouldn't have brought it here had there been any trace of parents to be found. With Sorien's help, any orphaned eggs found by her will be offered to the clan for anyone to take in, and should nobody be available, Willow will ardently care for and raise it as one of her own.

Though she's wonderful at her job and a fantastic mother figure to the hatchlings she takes in, it's apparent that she has the bad tendency to take in more than she can handle at times. Her dear friend Mauve often has to intervene and pull her aside, taking her into her den for some warm soothing tea when the Skydancer is teetering on the verge of burnout. She wishes Willow could do what she loves in caring for others without having to sacrifice her own wellbeing in the process, and to her great relief, it seems someone has also taken notice of her burdens and is helping her do just that-

Newn would often see Willow running by looking disheveled and overwhelmed during particularly stressful days, stepping in and encouraging her to relax with some delicious freshly grown fruits while he offered to help her watch the hatchlings under her care. He was always so warm and empathetic towards her, gently helping her remember to take care of herself, and it didn't take long at all for her appreciation for him to consume her into something more. She loves that Tundra more than anything in the world, a wonderful balance to her easily worried nature. And with him came a joy she never thought she'd receive, when she eventually got to care for and raise children of her very own.
