Little bit of a back story here-

I exalted my progen without really thinking about it and ended up really regretting it, they were returned to me on Tuesday, 11/8/16

They were born in the depths of a shadowy forest. Where exactly, they are not sure. It felt like that had been sleeping for a long time only to be jolted to the reality of the world around them. There had ben another dragon, one that had been awoken at the same time. It was then that they named their other half. one was to be Lirael and the other to be Aurelio. They journeyed through the forest until they found a glade that suited them.

It had been early in the Clans life, as they were the ones who had awoken it was decided by those who ran across them that the pair would be the leaders. The pair had a few hatchlings, none of which who really went anywhere.

Their nests were built into the hallows and boughs of the trees, though for some of the larger dragons who stayed around there were hollowed out stumps that were also used. Lirael and Aurelio became known as a small Clan that welcomed other dragons to stay and rest awhile before heading out to where ever they want to. Lirael soon became bored, they wished for something more. Born a Fae, they wished to become something larger. Aurelio did not understand their need to change shape. She was pleased with how she had been formed.

In order to change shape, exploration was needed. Everyday Lirael would go off into the forest in search of answers. They hoped to come across a dragon who had also changed shape.

One day, they did not return from their walk. Their journey had taken them beyond the edge of the realm and deep into the Shadowbinder's own forest. They wandered there endlessly, passing by shades of dragon that had once been and who no longer where.

A battle was raging and they listened to the shades murmur of the changing tides. Lirael passed by dragons he had once known, member of his own Clan who were now nomore as well. They did not seem to recognize them, instead the marched on and joined the ranks while ignoring their pleas.

Their presence began to displease the Shadowbinder, "You don't belong among us on the battle field yet, return from where you traveled young one." Darkness and Light combined and were able to bring back the lost shadow child. But, a few bumps were hit along the way. A sigl was bestowed upon their brow to show that they were of questionable existence.

Having returned to the realm a new dragon, it took them a little bit of time to realize that not only where they alive again but their body had shifted and changed when they had been forced back. The world had also changed and they were unsure how much time had passed while they had been away.

There was nothing left of the old den, tree nests were rotten out, smashed egg shells half decayed into the mud. Bones lay scattered in formations he didn't remember. These were not the dragons he had known and loved. He searched the site, hoping that something had been left behind. They found plans of crossing the ocean

Knowing that this journey was too dangerous for them alone, they decided on a safer route through the plague lands. Sige, their old friend had spoken of his native home fondly but warily. Lirael soon discovered that the glowing emblem that had been bestowed upon him kept the beastclans at bay where ever they wandered. They avoided most contact with others at all costs, not knowing the state of the world or what was going on. It was safer to be alone. A loga is the only creature that attached itself to them. The two quickly became inseparable- Lirael's loneliness had gotten the best of him.

Icy lands greeted them, and there was no rest. They began searching for any signs, any hints of their clan and where they might be. He dropped in on clans and hung around in the shadows, listening and hiding. New creatures roamed the lands even here in the far north, it was a world they didn't understand anymore.

He heard someone mention Nightbird, and a clan that was far removed from the others. A clan that hide in plain sight and worked for the Ice Warden in return for safety. He had found them, finally. Faster than the winds, he raced to the spot that had been spoken of.

"You came home." was the first words he had heard from his dear friend Aurelio.

They are still settling into the Clan and they have once again moved from the chilling lands of the Icewarden to the more soothing plains of the Earthshaker. They are not the leader of the Clan, they have refused and let Nightbird keep the position that she had earned.

Though, Lirael has noticed that Aurelio hasn't been quite right since they returned. No one will talk to them about it.
