The Polar-night Ruler
Ice rises once more Basecamp: Mountain Lair With the influx of Shadow during the Trickmurk Circus, Oreamne has regrown her second set of horns. As is commonly the case when Shadow rises, she is jumpy, watching for some mysterious threat at all times. |
Clan Leader; Mountain Subclan Leader; Healer: field and first aid focus Elemental Nature Oreamne's element is both very strong and complex. While she is powerfully and overtly Ice-elemental to the point where she is more an animate ice-sculpture than a classically living being, she has a persistent undercurrent of Shadow. This grants her a powerful defense against elemental attacks that would otherwise fell her easily, but tends to make her difficult to pin down especially when Shadow rises in the world. Physical description Oreamne is a slightly longer than average tundra, with proportionate wings and long legs. Her somewhat lanky build and atypical makeup make her somewhat lightweight for her size. She is an Ice elemental dragon, seemingly composed of animate, unmelting ice-crystal, save for her heavily-frosted mane, beard, and wing-membranes. Her crystalline coat is covered in tracings of frost, and moving miniatures of the aurora australis, reflecting the displays dancing above the clouds in the Antarctic sky. She sports a second pair of horns, curling and shadowy, which are freshly regrown and still soft-surfaced with the power of the Trickmurk Circus. In motion she is very agile and graceful, which serves her well in combat, allowing her to dance out of the way of her opponents' blows before freezing their limbs in place. |
Origin Oreamne was the original founder of Northslope, and has been very quiet about her origins, though it is generally agreed that she came from Shadow originally. She has guided Northslope through various changes, and the construction of the additional lairplaces, finally settling as the leader of the Mountain Lair subclan. |
Kin Oreamne's ancestry is unknown, as is typical of a progenitor, though the evidence is overwhelming that she was born to Shadow before signing Icewarden's contract, and in fact she most likely has roots among pre-revelation nocturnes. As she is now able to restrict it to a background element, it does her good in combat when she goes up against such opponents as her chosen alignment is especially weak against. Her children are largely varied, but overall share a great strength in combat. Her son Vaccinius was one of the foremost coliseum fighters of Northslope before his Exaltation, and her daughter Sprucetip holds a similar position in allied clan Derecho Canyon. Her daughter Birchtwig is an unusual case, for her transformed elements, but also shows great combat strength for her tier. |
Familiar
Oreamne has taken a break from her bond with the Defender to welcome a new elemental to the clan. The Frozen Goblin seems to be a more inexperienced servant of Icewarden than others that Oreamne has welcomed to the clan, but she is full of enthusiasm and seems glad to be paired with the clan leader.Click or tap a food type to individually feed this dragon only.
