Biography
Thomas
Unfortunate, shy Thomas was the first to be pulled into Euryale's pack. She chased him for nearly two days before he finally asked her what she wanted. As it turned out, she wanted another adult to start a pack with. And well, Thomas had never had a mate before. He was not quite equipped to deal with how high energy and controlling she was though.
Thomas understands now why she picked him to start: Loyalty and their shared passion for caring for what was abandoned by others. So while Euryale has taken charge of the guards and scouts, Thomas has made himself king of the home, organizing the gatherers and crafters. Officially, the scholarly pursuits are not led by anyone, but the entire clan knows of Thomas's extreme proficiency in Light magic and the healing arts.
After the Shadow raid, he sleeps with Euryale until she takes the nightshift from Goldfoo. He feels he is connected with his mirror mate through a tightly strung cord, too strong to be broken but pulled too far to hold its place. He sighs, turns in place, and watches the current Eos has run through her tail to make a nightlight for the hatchlings.
The next morning Euryale brings together the warriors to prepare for an attack on the shadow clan. Gerard knows what they face, Artemis can bring them there and Mirinae knows who to avoid. She makes it clear that Thomas's safety is the priority, even over her own. A bit embarrassed, but he knows it makes sense, as he is the clan healer. Still, he wishes she'd take a bit more care of her self. The clan would not survive without her.
They survived. Just barely and not whole, but they survived. He rides Golfoo all the way back home, trying to get Mirinae back to a point where she can stand safely. They arrive home and he is exhausted, so spent he can barely focus. Euryale, still injured from her battle with the shadow patriarch, herds him aside, her blood matting his mane along with the others'. He knows she must be hurting too, but she manages to get them both into her den, where they collapse on the softened floor.
It is good to not treat battle wounds. Healing hatchling scrapes and cuts from training the exalted warriors, he vastly prefers.

"Pay Euryale no mind, she's territorial. How can I help?"
