History A former humanoid scientist, his labs had done it all, special gels that make you bounce or increase your speed, moon rocks experimentation, combustible lemons, even portals. But he never had enough of his science. However, one day met a wandering flower who called herself 'Violetta,' he was amazed by her beauty, so he underwent a new scientific pursuit; the effort to animate plants like the "Sun" had apparently done for Vioetta's garden. As a man of science he knew, magic can't be real, there must be a chemical combination that animates plants, and he would find it. He was determined to do so. Years of scientific endeavors all mixed into one, so many failures to meet one result... Finally! He had found the result he wished so deeply for, but not in the way he wanted. Insulted by his desire to duplicate her missing lover's works of "living art," the witch, "Moon," struck him with a dark spell, cursing him to become one with the closest plants to him; a small lemon tree and a raspberry bush. Fear filled his mind, and then a sense of calm, like this was to be his fate all along. But perhaps it was his imagination.. Twisted by "Moon" to the form of the sentient plant he strived to create all this time, he wondered to himself, "Was it worth it? Has my research been completed?" Many questions flooded his mind, but rather than asking them aloud, he instead released one question into the air. "So it was magic.." the Moon disappeared, not giving him the courtesy of conversation or answers, she had done what she thought he deserved, and did not care if he could fend for himself in a new form. Taking his first steps on all-fours, Cave stood, his scientific investigations expanded by a whole new field, the study of magic. |
