An unlikely encounter may just change your life

'Luck' isn't something every dragon believes in. But to Unlikely, it was everything.

He had been born to a common family, just another clan trying to get by. He would get sent to school in the day and made to do chores in the evening. Sometimes he would watch the dragons flying overhead, wondering where they were going, wishing for that sort of freedom.

Unlikely thought about the future that lay ahead of him. There was no way for him to change his fate, looking after his family as they looked after him. Only luck could help him escape.

And bit by bit, luck came to him. Whether it was gold, gems, food, mates, praise, opportunities, Unlikely got it all. He slowly realized his life, and everyone's around him, were extremely lucky in everything they did.

He isn't sure when his luck will run out. But until that day he will make sure to use every drop of it.
