Memories.. there were memories. Memories that Celeste tried desperately to hold onto as he looked around this strange place and it's glittering branches above him. Feeling a sense of unease and dread, he began to crawl along the ground in an attempt to move, as his memories of flight were already too far gone. Their only choice was to move somewhere, anywhere that could be safe and allow them to rest.

Time itself seemed to crawl, and the reality of how much of it had passed was lost on Celeste, as they continued to fumble their grip on the terrain while moving. Their stomach and leg scales were flaking with the constant contact with the ground, and Celesta wasn't even sure if his tail remained after all of this. However, the Fae continued to struggle forth in an attempt at finding shelter, or at the very least, someone to help him remember, only to collapse in exhaustion as their body gave out.

Awakened from an uncomfortable slumber by a rumbling stomach, Celeste took a look around for a moment as they took a deep breath to hold while they studied their situation. But yet, there was not a sound in this silent yet gorgeous forest. It left a strange sense of dread, one that he still could not shake since he had awoken the first time.

What he didn't know, was that they had been tossed out of the Astrolodome due to their seemingly ineptitude at stargazing. They placed a spell to befuddle the young Fae, in hopes that they would forget everything that they had learned in an act to rid their hands of what the others deemed a failure and not useful to their deity's cause. The Starwood Strand's glittering branches gave no sign of night or day, and Celeste was left to wordlessly stare up at the seemingly infinite branches looming over their head, that gleamed with the stars of the universe in their canopy.

Everything seemed like danger, from the sound of water to the noise of the wind rustling the gorgeous branches of the Strand. Finding hope in the latter, the befuddled Fae continued to go forth in an attempt to find something, or perhaps even someone. The one thing those spellcasters had not managed to take from him, while they had taken his memories, was but raw instinct that still remained in their tiny body.
Eventually, through a glimpse through the trees, the Oculus of the Elevens' colors shone through the bright blue leaves. It sparked a brief sense of hope, as well as some of his old memories. Yet, he didn’t realize that he would not be welcomed back to anywhere of the higher ups. At least, not until Celeste was wing deep in the relentless waves, struggling against the current that threatened to drag them under. It almost felt like a tail.. a tail in which, snaked up his body and suddenly pulled him under. With the Oculus and the rest of the world disappearing as the Fae was dragged below the surface, he finally gave up those last shreds of hope and accepted what he thought the Arcanist had deemed his fate to be.

He believed his fate was to repent what he had brought upon the Starfall Isles, and give back to the ecosystem that had shunned the lonely Fae and branded them as but a nuisance. His fate was not that, but to give back in a different way. What he was unaware of, was the fact they were being pulled under into an underwater cave off the shore of Plague's border with the Starwood Strand. This cave was his new beginning, and he was dropped upon the ground of the cave.
